Sing Up Awards

 As you are aware, we are a school with a strong musical tradition. Our children sing well and regularly. As a way of celebrating our singing success and in order to further encourage singing throughout the school both in and out of the classroom, we have pledged to the Sing Up Silver Award.

Sing Up is a Government funded national singing programme which aims to ensure that primary school children have access to quality singing activities every day. Sing Up aims to raise the profile of singing in schools and make people aware of its health and learning benefits. You might like to visit www.singup.org to find out more about the organisation.

This January we launched our  Sing Up Pledge.  We are very fortunate to have the services of Mr and Mrs L’Estrange to help us with this. As well as being parents at school, Mr and Mrs L’Estrange are both professional musicians of great renown and we are grateful for their help and support.
