Welcome to St Helen's School website

Welcome,

Here at St Helen’s, we pride ourselves as being a part of village life. We instil a strong sense of community in our children. As such, and as a Church of England school, we are here to serve all families regardless of faith. We are a values led school and our values of perseverance, respect, community, wisdom, kindness and truth will give children the skills they need for life.

Our last published Ofsted described how ‘Pupils are happy to attend St Helen’s. They are encouraged to do their best. Pupils show a high level of respect to each other and develop strong relationships with staff’.

We are ambitious for all our children, regardless of their needs or background. We achieve this through our academic teaching and our broad inclusive sports offering, in addition to our forest school, vast school grounds and nature area, our OPAL play scheme, our music, our school trips, our residentials, our extra-curricular clubs – and so much more. We are passionate that all opportunities are accessible to all pupils.

The best way to find out about our school is to come and see us. You can meet members of our leadership team, wonderful teachers and support staff, see the children in their day-to day environment, and explore our beautiful grounds. To arrange a visit please contact the school office on 01582 832106 or email admin@sthelens.herts.sch.uk.

We look forward to welcoming you at St. Helen’s.

Mr A Harris

Our School PRayer

Dear God

Thank you for helping us to build friendships and to show love to our neighbours.
Thank for all the gifts that you have given us.
Thank you for our school family, both the children and adults.

Help us to be understanding towards others.
Help us to be kind and truthful.
Help us to persevere with our learning to do the best we can.

Bless St Helen’s and our village with your love.

Amen
