Learning Buddies
Why Learning Buddies?
‘Learning Buddies’ provides an opportunity for our children to work with older/younger children in the school. Each room has a ‘partner’ class they are twinned with. Working collaboratively the children enjoy developing skills and knowledge with their partner class. The children really look forward to making new friends, often with children they would not normally encounter. ‘Learning Buddies’ meet once per half-term.
The children meet to share activities, stories and ideas, relating to a theme. This initiative helps all children to recognise the importance of ‘loving learning’.
